General Terms and Conditions (T&C)

§ 1 Scope

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts for the rental of hotel rooms for accommodation as well as all related services provided by Marco Brodkorb OP GmbH, Kieler Straße 13, 30880 Laatzen (hereinafter "Hotel").

§ 2 Booking Confirmation and Conclusion of Contract

The accommodation contract becomes binding upon receipt of the booking confirmation. The Hotel is entitled to send the booking confirmation in text form (e-mail).

§ 3 Payment

(1) The total amount is due no later than 14 days before arrival.

(2) Accepted payment methods: credit card, PayPal, bank transfer.

(3) If the guest fails to meet their payment obligation, the Hotel will issue a written reminder. If payment continues to be outstanding, the Hotel is entitled to cancel the booking and charge cancellation fees pursuant to § 6.

§ 4 Arrival and Departure

(1) Rooms are available from 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival.

(2) Rooms must be vacated by 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure.

(3) Different arrival and departure times are only possible with prior agreement from the Hotel.

(4) Guests who remain in the room beyond the agreed check-out time are liable for all resulting costs and damages.

§ 5 Rental Object and Use

(1) Rooms are rented with complete inventory to a person of legal age. Any missing items, defects or damage must be reported to the Hotel immediately. Complaints about the condition of the rooms will only be accepted within 24 hours of arrival.

(2) The inventory must be treated with care and remain in the room. The guest is liable for damage caused by culpable violation of the duty of care, including damage caused by fellow travellers.

(3) In the event of contractual misuse — in particular subletting, overcrowding, disturbance of the peace or parties — the Hotel may terminate the contract without notice.

§ 6 Cancellation Conditions

Cancellations must be sent in writing by e-mail to info@7oc.de.

We distinguish between bookings during a "major trade fair" and regular hotel operations.

"Major trade fairs" are: Hannover Messe, Ligna, EuroBLECH, EuroTier, Agritechnica, IAA Transportation, EMO, Interschutz, Passion Pferd, ITMA, Domotex, Didacta, Ideenexpo, Infa, DSEI.

For bookings of 5 or more rooms, please contact us by e-mail (info@7oc.de) for individual cancellation policies.

Regular hotel operations

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before arrival (3:00 p.m.). Thereafter, 100% of the total costs are due. In the event of no-show, 100% is charged.

Major trade fairs

If the guest does not arrive on the day of arrival and does not contact us by e-mail, the Hotel will release the entire booked period.

The cancellation deadline is 3:00 p.m. of the relevant day.

Any refunds will be issued approximately 7 days after the cancelled stay period.

Deposit for major trade fairs (group bookings)

After binding booking, a deposit of 25% of the total costs must be paid no later than 3 days after invoicing. The remaining 75% are due in full 60 days before arrival. The offer is valid for 3 days.

§ 7 No Right of Withdrawal

For accommodation contracts for a specific period, there is no statutory right of withdrawal pursuant to § 312g para. 2 no. 9 BGB. The cancellation conditions in § 6 apply exclusively.

§ 8 Stay and House Rules

(1) Rooms may only be occupied by the number of persons stated in the booking confirmation. Additional guests must be reported immediately. In the event of overcrowding, the Hotel is entitled to turn away excess persons or charge a supplement of €30 per night per person.

(2) Smoking is prohibited in all rooms, common areas and hallways. Violations result in a special cleaning fee of at least €250 plus any repair costs.

(3) Parties, excessive noise and disturbances of the peace are prohibited.

(4) Animals are not permitted. Guests with assistance animals are asked to contact the Hotel before arrival.

(5) Commercial photo and video recordings require the written consent of the Hotel.

(6) The Hotel operates video surveillance in the entrance area, car park and interior of the entrance for the security of guests and property. Recordings are deleted after 72 hours unless incidents need to be documented. Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

(7) Entrance doors and access areas must be kept closed at all times.

(8) Room keys or access codes may not be passed on to third parties. In the event of loss, the costs for reprogramming the lock will be charged.

§ 9 Withdrawal by the Hotel

The Hotel is entitled to terminate the accommodation contract without notice if the guest persistently disturbs other guests despite warnings, behaves in breach of contract or repeatedly disregards the house rules. In this case, there is no claim to a refund of payments already made.

§ 10 Liability of the Hotel

The Hotel is liable within the scope of its duty of care for the proper provision of rooms and common areas. Liability for failures of the water or electricity supply as well as for force majeure events is excluded.

§ 11 Severability Clause

Should individual provisions of these T&C be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. Invalid provisions shall be replaced by the legally permissible provision that most closely reflects the economic purpose.

§ 12 Place of Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

German law applies. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from the contractual relationship is Hannover, insofar as legally permissible.
